With their Cadê chair, the duo receives the Joaquim Tenreiro Award of Museu da Casa Brasileira [Brazilian Home Museum], as well as the Brasil Faz Design Award. They take part in the exhibition Entre Objetos [among objects], at Rio de Janeiro’s MAM [Museum of Modern Art] and at Nara Roesler gallery, in São Paulo. They create Estação da Luz [light station, the name of an old train station in São Paulo] lamp

Ovo takes part in Brasil Faz Design exhibition, a parallel event at the Milan Furniture Fair, at Palazzo Reale. They also have an exhibition at Brazil’s Institute of Architects, in Rio de Janeiro.

1997
The duo’s Cadê chair is part of Design Mit Zukunft exhibition, in Germany, curated by Philippe Starck, and appears in the International Design Yearbook, edited by this French-Swiss designer. The chair is also featured in 50 Chairs, a guide edited by Mel Bryars. Their Camelo [camel] table receives honors at the 10th Museu da Casa Brasileira Awards. Together with Jaqueline Terpins and brothers Humberto and Fernando Campana, the duo organizes Subjetos exhibition at São Paulo’s MuBE [Museum of Brazilian Sculpture]. They create Palavras Cruzadas [crosswords] bookshelf and São João [St. John] lamps, as well as Mientras Tanto [meanwhile] table.

The duo takes part in Design Brazil, 5 Contemporary Designers show, in Miami, U.S. Some of their pieces are included in 50 Tables and 50 Lights guides

Cubo [cube] lamp is created

Ovo takes part in the Playground exhibition at Brito Cimino gallery, in São Paulo. The duo receives the First Brasil Faz Design show award with their Mientras Tanto table. They create Looping console table, Pronto-Socorro [ER] table and Huevos Revueltos coat racks

The duo takes part in the Bienal 50 Anos [Biennial 50-Year] show, at São Paulo’s Fundação Bienal. They create Coelho [rabbit] and Clip tables

2002
Ovo’s showroom in São Paulo opens with an exhibition called Home Sweet Home. Luciana Martins and Gerson de Oliveira create Tobogã [slide] and Varetas [sticks] chairs; Feriado, Distante [far away] and Bis [encore] bookshelves; and RGB lamp.

The duo is responsible for the Sala de Arte [art room] show, at Ovo’s showroom and Brito Cimino gallery, in São Paulo. They take part in Vermelho gallery’s Hora Aberta [open hour] show, in São Paulo, with their Campo installation. They create Terceira [third] chair, I Beg Your Pardon screen and Large Cuts carpet

The designers create PA installation for São Paulo’s MAM’s Projeto Parede [The Wall Project]. At the at the 19th Museu da Casa Brasileira Awards, they receive the first prize in utility objects with their Huevos Revueltos coat racks; they also receive honors in the same category with their acrylic boxes Box in the Box, as well as the second prize in home furniture with their Terceira chair. They launch Oco [hollow] line

The duo is featured in Daab’s Young Designers Americas guide. They release Entre/Planos [between/planes] line and 2.88 table

Ovo show their Bis bookshelf at the Brazilian Design Biennial, in São Paulo; the duo’s work is also seen at the international design and architecture biennial exhibition ExperimentaDesign, in Holland
